Samsung released its twins from the Samsung Galaxy handset. The Samsung Galaxy 3 and the Galaxy Apollo. These two Samsung Galaxy Apollo editions have pretty much identical features except for some minor differences on their hardware and software.

Both handsets prove that the Android platform is the best for the low mid range and higher end smartphones. One of their big differences is that the 15800 is designed as the global version of the phone while the15801 is exclusive only to Orange.

The Samsung Apollo 15801 runs under the Android version 2.1 Eclair operating system and uses a 667 MHz processor. This version of operating system is upgradeable to the 2.2 Froyo version. Samsungs proprietary TouchWiz3.0 interface along with the Orange interface is also available with this new handset.
