It looked great and we gave it high points in the looks department. Now we wish we have more than 20 points to give for the HTC Hero pink because it sure is one pretty handset. It's the type of pink that reminds us of cherry blossoms, really. 13 Points Features - Review HTC Hero Pink Features (Max 15 Points) Feature-wise, we wish this handset has a flash for the camera, a radio, and a secondary camera for video calls. But if you can live without those, we think that you will surely enjoy this handset's capacitive touchscreen, Android OS, 288 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 5MP camera, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Qualcomm processor, HTML browser, digital compass, GPS, and media player. 9 Points Ease of Use - Review HTC Hero Pink Ease Of Use (Max 10 Points) This part was quite easy, of course. But then, we do this a lot. So we give it 4 points because newcomers to the world of smartphone mobiles might get lost every now and then for the first few days. As we have mentioned in our other HTC Hero review, you will want to have a plan that will give you unlimited mobile Internet so that you can enjoy the HTC Hero pink handset to the max. Seriously, we can just imagine the fun you'll have updating your Facebook status or tweeting your lunch or downloading apps if you have an unlimited mobile Internet plan. 4 Points Texting - Review HTC Hero Pink Text Messaging Experience (Max 5 Points) Just like the iPhone, the HTC Hero pink handset presents SMS in threaded conversation format. As for the text editor, you have the option to use the phone on portrait or landscape mode. Both modes give you a full QWERTY keyboard. You'd better practice typing on landscape since it's the most convenient of the two. 8 Points Menu - Review HTC Hero Pink Menu Usability / Controllability (Max 10 Points) With Sense UI working smoothly with the Android OS, you have a beautiful menu to admire. Still, some aspects of the menu cannot be edited the way we would have wanted. 9 Points Features Usability - Review HTC Hero Pink Main Feature Usability (Max 10 Points) New users might need a longer adjustment period than us since we do this all the time but once you get the hang of it, using the feauures of the HTC Hero pink handset will be second nature. Our answer will be, “Oh, very much so.” 2 Points - Like / Dislikes (Max 2 Points) We like pink, you can't hold that against us. 94 Total Points Review - Final Thoughts on the HTC Hero Pink You will notice that this handset got a point bigger than our other HTC Hero review. The extra point is due to the colour. You have to trust us when we say that the brushed aluminum paired with the blush pink colour is enough to melt your heart. With that said, we think that getting a plan with the HTC Hero pink should not be too expensive. There are great plans in the UK today that will give you the handset free even though this is clearly a high-end mobile.
